Our standards

Editorial Policy

We publish practical guides that help readers make informed decisions about the problems our products address and the craft of building focused software.

What we publish

We focus on prayer-time tools, mindful productivity, career readiness, ethical and Shariah-aware investing, constructive family routines, and lessons from designing and maintaining useful mobile and web products. A topic must connect directly to an AIA Innovations product, an on-site tool, or our demonstrated product-building experience. We do not publish unrelated articles merely to increase page count.

Authorship and accountability

Articles are attributed to Amin Shekh, founder of AIA Innovations Ltd. He is responsible for the final published work, including its relevance, clarity and accuracy. His background and the limits of his expertise are described on his author page. We do not invent credentials, personal experiences or expert endorsements.

Research and fact-checking

Product claims are checked against our current product material. Claims about standards, platforms, law, health, finance or religious practice require an appropriate reliable source and careful qualification. When the evidence is uncertain or outside our expertise, we say so, seek specialist review, or leave the claim out. We distinguish our practical judgement from established fact.

AI-assisted drafting

We may use AI tools to help organise research or produce a first draft. AI is not treated as a source, author or fact-checker. A named human remains accountable for topic selection, verification, editing, links and publication. Drafts that are repetitive, generic, unsupported or unrelated to our work are not published.

Originality and usefulness

Each article should answer a specific reader question with concrete steps, trade-offs, examples or checklists. We check the existing library before commissioning a topic and consolidate overlapping articles. Word count alone is never evidence of quality. We favour a smaller useful library over a large one built from near-duplicates.

Advertising and commercial independence

Advertising does not determine which topics we choose or the conclusions we reach. Advertisements are visually separate from editorial content. References to our own products must be relevant to the reader’s task and must not claim features that are unavailable. We do not accept payment for favourable coverage.

Corrections and updates

We update articles when products, platform behaviour or reliable guidance changes. Material corrections should be made promptly rather than hidden behind a new article. Readers can report an error through our contact page; include the article title, the passage in question and a reliable supporting source where possible.
